UHS recently was recognized for its exceptional service to East Tennessee with its selection as a Solucient Top 100 cardiac practice.

University Heart Surgeons provides the full spectrum of cardiothoracic surgery for adults, and we work closely with the UT Medical Center’s pediatric, infant and children’s heart surgery program. We have added the daVinci robot to our minimally invasive heart surgery program and are one of the only cardiac centers in the area using it to do heart valve repair.

We’re the only Knoxville group that performs surgical repair of congenital heart defects in infants, and we work closely with the UT Cancer Center and the Chest Service at UT in performing surgical procedures on lung and other intrathoracic tumors.
